Chris Byrnes

Stepping out on my own, I embraced the challenges, freedom and constant work required to run my own business. This adventure taught me many invaluable lessons, encouraging me to chase any dream and embrace each new chapter in life.

Starting my own construction company was a huge step to take – there were many risks, but something told me I had to try. The construction industry is not for the faint of heart; it's fiercely competitive, costly and filled with uncertainty. On top of that, building spec homes from the ground up was particularly nerve-wracking. The uncertainty of whether these homes would sell profitably weighed heavily on my shoulders, but I pressed forward, determined to run my own business.

My roots in construction run deep, as my father owns a construction company. From an early age, I was involved, seeing how hard he worked, how passionate he was and the flexibility he had to spend time with family. I enjoyed construction but wanted to explore other possibilities, making sure whatever I chose to do, I was truly passionate about. In my senior year of high school, I completed a specialized program in architectural design at CART, thinking I might become an architect. While I learned a lot, my perspective shifted when I realized that working behind a computer screen all day wasn't the right path for me.

From there, I studied construction management at Fresno State for three years. Nearing the end of my education, classes became harder to get into as the school's budget cuts limited when they were offered. I became an intern at a healthcare consulting firm specializing in pre-employment and pre-deployment medical screenings for the Department of Defense. After working my way up over a 5-year period, I felt I had hit a ceiling. For the first time, I recognized my dream of one day owning my own business where there were no limits on how much I could achieve.

I returned to construction, working for my father before finally starting my own construction company. Despite the fear that comes along with an entrepreneurial step like this, I was driven by the limitless opportunities owning a business brings and the freedom to pursue any path. I saw this venture as an opportunity to prove to myself that I could overcome anything and succeed, no matter the obstacles. Instead of allowing fear to paralyze me, I chose to let it serve as a motivator and a catalyst for personal growth.

As I began building spec homes, I recognized my knack for creating homes people wanted. It became a successful endeavor, so much so that I decided to get my real estate license. Initially, it was a practical decision to facilitate the sale of the homes we were constructing. However, fate had other plans in store for me. The real estate market experienced a significant upturn, and I unexpectedly became a top producer in the area.

When life presented me with a new path, I decided to embrace real estate while remaining active in construction, primarily in the realm of remodeling. Real estate encompasses all of my experiences, from architecture and construction to running a business and connecting with people. Today, my remodeling business operates under Byrnes Homes Incorporated, which has proven to be a great resource for my real estate clients. I am grateful every day that I took that leap of faith and started my first business. Now, it truly feels like the possibilities are limitless.

As a family man, I have a special place in my heart for

helping other families just like ours. I am married to a wonderful woman, and we are blessed with two amazing daughters, Rylee and Harper. We recently moved to the countryside and have enjoyed every moment of it. I enjoy coaching my daughters’ soccer and tee-ball teams, and my daughters and wife are taking golf lessons, so soon, we will all be golfing together!

In 2012, before I was a REALTOR®, I embarked on my own real estate journey when I bought my first home without a real estate agent. Navigating the complexities of the transaction, from negotiations to paperwork, was both challenging and rewarding. What made that transaction successful and the transactions I help my clients through today is my ability to problem solve, communicate well and find answers. No matter how complex the transaction is, I am confident I can traverse any problems and achieve a win-win scenario.

What sets me apart is my unwavering commitment to ethical practices and prioritizing my clients' best interests. With a background in construction and design, I bring a unique perspective when viewing homes. What I value most in real estate is working closely with people, forging connections and making clients happy through exceptional service. When you come to me with a dream, I will do everything in my power to make that dream a reality. Even after the transaction is over, I will continue to support you as your REALTOR® and friend for life!

Sincerely,

Chris Byrnes
